Microsoft is currently working on a major update for Windows 11, which is primarily intended for beta testers. But instead spread to incompatible PCs.
The Windows 11 update (22H2), the official name of the update, is actually only available in the Release Preview version, which is intended for beta testers on Windows Insider. But many Twitter and Reddit users have found Microsoft's fault.
There are hundreds of Windows Insiders who can update their Windows 10 PCs that use older processors to Windows 11. In fact, Microsoft has strict requirements to be able to install Windows 11, which makes millions of PCs in the world can not use the latest Microsoft OS.
One such requirement is that Windows 11 requires at least an 8th generation Intel processor (Coffee Lake) or AMD Zen 2, with very few exceptions.
Although there is actually an easy way to circumvent this requirement, Windows Insiders only do not do so. So, Windows Insiders really can't install Windows 11 if the PC doesn't qualify. So Microsoft's mistake in spreading the update is weird.
Microsoft is aware of this error and admits it is investigating. "This is a bug and is currently being investigated by the team," Microsoft wrote on its official Windows Insider Twitter account.
Especially for users who have already updated their PC-which is not compatible-to Windows 11, they can rollback to Windows 10 Release Preview via the options in the Windows 11 settings menu.
Despite bringing many updates, Windows 11 is not the most innovative operating system. The predicate is instead embedded in Windows 7, even users rate it the most successful of the Windows variants ever released by Microosoft.
Thus the results of a small survey conducted by Windows Central celebrated the 30th anniversary of Windows 3.1 recently. They want to see Windows user ratings of which variants users rate as the most innovative and successful.
There were 4,000 people who took the survey. There were 964 votes or 24.86% who considered Windows 7 the most innovative and successful. The reason, the operating system is considered to have a beautiful user interface from the design language Aero Glass, which made Windows 7 immediately gained fame since its launch.
