Elon Musk Hate WFH, Twitter Employees Could Be Affected

The Corona pandemic has been controlled so that the work from home or WFH system has begun to be reduced by various companies. Like a Tesla employee who was ordered by Elon Musk to enter the office or be asked to leave. Twitter employees can also be affected.

As reported, the richest person in the world is asking Tesla employees to return to work in the office or leave the company. He stated that employees who want to work remotely must come to the office at least 40 hours a week.

"Anyone who wants to work remotely has to be in the office for a minimum (and I mean *minimum*) 40 hours per week or leave Tesla. This is less than we ask factory employees," Musk said in an email.

Well, Twitter, which is in the process of being acquired by Elon Musk, is one of the most relaxed technology companies. In fact, all employees are allowed permanent WFH.

"We can confirm that Twitter continues to allow permanent work from home as we announced in 2020, with no plans to change this policy," a Twitter spokesperson said.

"While our offices are re-opening globally, employees can work from home part time or forever if they wish. Our priority is for employees to work wherever they feel most productive and creative," added Elon Musk.

But maybe that policy changes when Elon Musk officially owns Twitter. He seems to hate WFH because he himself likes to work in an office or factory.

Musk gave an example of how he used to live at Tesla's factory in Fremont, California when the company struggled to ramp up production in 2017 and 2018.

"If I hadn't done that, Tesla would have been broke long ago. Of course there are companies that don't need this (WFO), but when was the last time they sold a great new product? It's been a long time," Elon Musk wrote in the email.
