Another wearable device announced by Garmin today is the Forerunner 955 series with two variation options either panels with built -in solar or vice versa. For those who are interested, the Garmin Forerunner 955 Non-Solar is available at RM2,470, while the Garmin Forerunner 955 Solar is sold at RM2,970.
Both are equipped with a 46mm body with a touch screen that is also used. In addition, it is also loaded with a number of standard tracking and health features that are synonymous with Garmin watches. These include music downloads from Spotify, Garmin Pay, notifications from the phone and virtual trainers straight from the clock.
Built -in GPS support also allows more accurate location tracking process to be done even when out of the area. The significant difference lies in the battery life which can reach 20 days for variations with built -in solar panels. Meanwhile, the variation without solar panels can operate for up to 15 days with GPS mode enabled.
