Kaodim, which offers search services for plumbers, maids, air conditioner maintenance and more, announced the closure of their operations starting July 1. This resulted in their operations in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
In a note shared by company founder Choong Fui Yu, operations had to be halted due to the impact of the pandemic for more than two years. Rising costs, manpower shortages and operational disruptions due to the pandemic have resulted in a decrease in the number of customers which has led to the company incurring losses.
After June 30, 2022, all accounts and data will be deleted, and for service bookings that have been made for a later date, users will have to make payment in cash directly to the service provider.
