The Google TV app can now officially be used in Malaysia to control Android TV televisions. Through an update earlier this morning, remote control options can be seen in the lower right corner of the app. Google also announced the app can also finally be downloaded by iOS device owners.
Google TV is officially supported in 100 countries around the world starting today. Previously support was provided randomly without official confirmation. In the Southeast Asian region the application is supported in the Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The process of connecting Google TV to the TV is simple with the user just having to press the button of the remote control and follow the instructions given. After the tethering is done, your Android TV smart television can be fully controlled from Android and iOS smart devices.
