Google Will Combine Google Duo And Google Meet Into One Application

 


Google today announced they will be merging two apps focusing on their video calls into one, later this year. The two applications are Google Duo and Google Meet.



Google Duo is ready to offer in making it easy for users to make video calls without the need for a Google account, in addition to group calls of up to 32 people, as well as a number of other additional features. The app also comes built -in on a number of Android devices.


While Google Meet is more focused on the teleconferencing arena in facilitating video calls and managing a number of other things.


Google says they will consolidate the features offered on these two apps. Later, this year, the Google Duo app will also be rebranded to Google Meet.
