How to create a Google Business Profile
Open Google Maps, then click 'Add your business'
Enter your business name, click 'Next'
You will be presented with a question whether you want to add a location that can be visited by consumers or not, select 'Yes' or 'No' and continue 'Next'
If you select 'Yes', enter your business address, click 'Next'
Choose again whether you provide delivery or office visits, 'Yes' or 'No' followed by 'Next'
Enter the service area covered
Add business contacts, phone numbers and also a website
Verify to make sure the business is indeed yours. Done, okay.
If you already have a business that appears on Google, Herring adds a number of tips to make your business profile more attractive. Here are some of them:
Provide information about telephone numbers, working hours and safety standards used
Complete the logo, cover photo and other supporting photos
Add product/service information along with prices
