The Meta Avatars Store was launched yesterday by Mark Zuckerberg which allows users of the Meta metamesta platform to purchase digital costumes for their characters. Among the companies that will offer clothing for avatars are Balenciaga, Prada and Thom Browne.
Avatar 3D Meta is supported on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger. There is still a selection of free clothes and accessories but for users who want an avatar that looks more exclusive the Meta Avatars Store will be a place where purchases can be made.
Meta has not yet announced the selling price of this digital garment. In the early stages the Meta Avatars Store can be accessed by users in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Thailand first. The store will also be open to other consumers to sell their own designer digital clothing in the future.
