Meta or Facebook previously offered a device for video calling and quick access to some information, called a Portal. However, with difficulties in the hardware arena, now Meta reportedly wants to focus more on offering hardware to enterprise users as opposed to the general public.

The new report comes in parallel with Meta said to be considering and restructuring their focus in the hardware arena.
The portal was previously offered in 2018, making it easier for people to make video calls - as well as access songs and videos.
Apart from Meta, Google is also often more focused on offering to enterprises than to the general public.
