Microsoft Edge Now Has A Dedicated Hub For Local Gaming

Micorosft Edge is now Microsoft’s flagship web browser after Internet Exporer was officially discontinued last week. Now Microsoft is announcing a special hub in Edge that focuses specifically on gaming locally.

At this hub, users can directly access the Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming service, download free gaming applications, other streaming channels, news about gaming and much more. According to Microsoft, the Edge also comes with a Clarity Boost feature that allows Xbox Cloud Gaming users to stream their video games with higher visual quality and lower latency than other web browsers.

Users can also access free games such as Microsoft Solitaire, Microsoft Jewel, and Microsoft Mahjong locally. Lastly the Edge also has a mode that reduces RAM usage when detecting computer games being launched. With this the issue of web browsers taking up too much memory will no longer be an issue for Edge users.
