Earlier this month, Microsoft officially introduced their affordable laptop, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2.
Recently, a report from Lowyat.Net has confirmed that Microsoft Malaysia updated their website with details on the presence of the laptop in the local market this July.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 comes with a 12.4-inch PixelSense display with a 3: 2 display ratio and a resolution of 1536 x 1024. What is interesting is that the processing chip used this time is more powerful, namely the Intel Core i5-1135G7 with a matched Intel Iris Xe GPU. with 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM memory as well as 128GB or 256GB convertible SSD internal storage. A 16GB option is also offered but only for enterprise users.
The good news is, there are no more slow 64GB eMMC storage options. Fingerprint scanner support is also retained, but on more premium models and none on the base model. For the camera, it still uses a 720p HD f/2.0 camera. As for audio, Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio Premium are included and have studio-level dual-microphones.
The battery is said to last up to 13.5 hours with USB-C or Surface Connect charging. USB-A connection and 3.5mm audio jack port are also included. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 support is also available on this laptop for the convenience of users.
For now, the specific configuration, price and sale date for this Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 laptop is not known yet, but with confirmation that it will be revealed next month. we expect that Microsoft Malaysia will make an announcement about it soon.
