More rumors say Twitter's "Edit" Button Will Be Present This Year

The most desired feature of Twitter users since the service was launched is the edit button that allows the tweets sent to be edited in the event of spelling, fact or link errors. Jack Dorsey previously said he did not want to offer this feature but Twitter itself says the feature is already developed with it to be tested by Twitter Blue users first.

A Bloomberg report today quoted an internal source as saying an "edit" button would be given to users this year. The snippet can be edited for a limited time after being submitted with any changes made will be displayed and visible to other users.

Since Twitter wanted to be bought by Elon Musk, various new features were introduced. The purchase deal is now pending as Musk gave various reasons for not pursuing it until arguing with Twitter staff in public.

For people with spelling problems like me, the presence of this speech editing feature is something we look forward to either before or after the takeover of Elon Musk.
