Mozilla Now Includes Offline Translation Feature In Firefox

 Every day , we would use Mozilla Firefox to write various articles. But for personal use, we will use Microsoft Edge, Safari or Google Chrome because these three web browsers have built -in translation functionality that Firefox does not have.

Recently, Mozilla has added the Firefox Translations translation plugin to translate websites offline. The translation process does not use data from servers or cloud services. Instead, Firefox will download certain data-forces for all processes performed directly from the user's computer.

This translation is based on the Bergamot Project, which is a project funded by the European Union in collaboration with several universities. It is a machine learning -based translation system that can all be done offline, in contrast to Google and Microsoft which use cloud services.

For now, it is still limited to a few languages and these selected foreign languages can only translate English content. If you are interested in trying it out, download and install the Firefox Translation plugin via the link below;
