Opensignal: Malaysia Has The Second Fastest 5G Network In The World


 Opensignal has now released reports and data collections related to 5G networks at the global level, as well as showing the position of 5G networks in Malaysia compared to other countries.



Ranked first in rotational download speed is South Korea with a speed of 432.7Mbps. Interestingly, Malaysia followed in second place at a speed of 382.2Mbps.


In terms of the highest speed achieved, Malaysia also ranks second at a speed of 880.3Mbps, behind Taiwan with a speed of 922.5Mbps.


Interestingly, Malaysia ranks first in terms of upload speed at 50.3Mbps. The data collected by Opensignal is between the period of March 1 to May 29, 2022.


For now, only Yes offers 5G services in Malaysia, and with the June 30 deadline approaching, we may see 5G offerings from various other providers in the coming months.
