Sad, Netizens Are Still Lazy to Change Password

Security when using the internet, apparently has not become a common awareness. Netizens are still minimal in taking care of themselves in cyberspace.

This was revealed in a recent report using a probability sampling technique with multistage random sampling.

The data we received stated that the results of this report obtained 7,568 respondents. This survey has a margin of error of +-1.13% with a 95% confidence level.

Regarding internet security, 13.03% of respondents have experienced security problems on the internet. But how do they fortify themselves? This is apparently still minimal.

Only 23.98% of respondents change their passwords regularly. In addition, only 23.29% of respondents used a combination of passwords that were not easy to guess. That is, there are still many who are lazy to change passwords and the passwords are simple.

Regarding the protection of personal data, awareness is also still lacking. Only 23.78% of respondents are aware that an application asks for personal data. Other aspects of protection are also quite concerning.

Only 4.92% of respondents installed anti-virus. In addition, only 9.1% of respondents care to only use verified applications. In fact, only 0.04% of respondents use screen patterns for security on smartphones.

Wow, this data finding is quite worrying, isn't it? Come on, you! It's time to care more about your security in cyberspace.

Fix passwords, beware if anyone asks for personal data. Don't forget to use a verified and trusted application.
