The Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) today gave approval to Celcom and Digi in the process of merging the two telecommunications companies into one.
Under the merger, a number of conditions have been set. This includes the use of a consolidated corporate brand.
Through the conditions given by SKMM, Digi and Celcom will have to position their prepaid and postpaid products under one corporate brand within 2 years of the merger.
This means, we will see the consolidation of existing products, or maybe it will be marketed under new offerings in the next two years involving Celcom and Digi products.
With this new development, let's wait and see what happens next in the process of merging these two telecommunications companies.
