OSOM OV1 is a device developed by former Essential staff. Some of the images shared by OSOM previously messed up it getting closer to launch. Unlike other smartphones on the market, the OV1 will focus on user privacy and security with the cable having a physical switch to prevent data transfer.
But now OSOM OV1 seems to have been canceled with it to be launched with the new name Solana Saga which gives emphasis to crypto. OSOM partnered with web3 technology company Solana to produce Saga. The design is still the same only changes are made to the software.
There is integration of cryptocurrencies, tokens and blockchain on devices that use a 6.55 ″ 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip, 12GB RAM memory, 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra wide angle camera and 4100 mAh battery.
This device is priced at $ 1000 (~ RM4400) each with pre -orders already opened. To pre -order customers need to use Solana currency. It will only start marketing in the first quarter of 2023.
