In the first quarter of 2022, the music streaming service Spotify has reached 182 million premium subscribers worldwide. That's up from 158 million in the same quarter in 2021.
Spotify's subscriber base has grown significantly in recent years and has more than doubled since the start of 2017.
Previously, Spotify estimated it would reach 183 million premium subscribers this quarter. However, his forecast was slightly off the mark due to the impact of the market pull in Russia.
Meanwhile, Spotify's own ad-supported revenue has increased 31% to 282 million Euros or around Rp. 4.4 trillion.
