The Alien Signals Detected By China's Giant Telescope Are Actually Man -Made

 

Nearly a week ago spread on social media the news of the giant FAST radio telescope located in China detecting a signal allegedly sent by an alien. This news excites people who want to believe the earth is not the only planet in the universe that has life. But now scientists believe the signals detected are most likely actually man -made.

And Werthimer a researcher from the University of Berkeley, California who was involved in the SETI project said he believes the signals received are man -made. The FAST telescope is equipped with a cryogenic receiver that is highly sensitive to all types of radio signals. Therefore the radio, telephone and satellite signals that exist can be mistaken for signals from aliens.

China is still relatively new to alien search research and this is not the first time such a mistake has occurred in the world of science. Two incidents of signal discovery from aliens were previously found to be in fact from microwave ovens and were radio interen after the data underwent an equivalent review process by other scientists.
