The Legendary HP Nokia 8210 Will Be Revived

In recent years, HMD Global has often revived old Nokia phones that were popular at that time. Now it's the turn of the Nokia 8210 which will reportedly be revived by HMD Global.

Nokia 8210 is a feature phone that was released in 1999. This phone is known for its thin and small body, even claimed to be the smallest and lightest Nokia mobile phone.

The presence of the new generation Nokia 8210 was revealed from listings at several Australian retailers. Unlike the Nokia 6310 reborn which only supports 2G, this new version of the Nokia 8210 will support 4G networks.

Since the original Nokia 8210 is known for its colorful casing options, the latest version will also come in three color options, namely Red, Blue, and Sand. The Nokia 8210 4G dual-SIM variant will be sold at a price of 119 Australian dollars or around Rp. 1.2 million.

In addition to the Nokia 8210, HMD Global will also present the Nokia 5710 XA. This phone was leaked several times in 2009 but never launched.

The Nokia 5710 is supposed to be the successor to the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic whose design is quite odd. Characteristic of the Nokia 5700 is the bottom button that can be rotated 360 degrees to display the keyboard, music player buttons, or camera.

It is not known whether the Nokia 5710 XA will follow the design concept of the Nokia 5710 or the Nokia 5700. It is possible that the Nokia 5710 XA will use a different design, because the available listings do not display product photos.

As quoted from Nokiamob, Sunday (26/6/2022) from the outstanding listing, the Nokia 5710 XA will come with a choice of Black and White colors. This phone will be sold at a price of 149 Australian dollars (around Rp. 1.5 million) but it is not yet known whether it supports 4G or not

This is the second XpressMusic phone to be revived by Nokia. Previously they presented the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic but without XpressMusic frills because the trademark was held by Microsoft Mobile.

Not to be left behind, HMD Global will also release the Nokia 2660 Flip 4G folding phone as a successor to the Nokia 2660 which was released in 2007. This phone will be available for the global market, unlike the Nokia 2760 Flip which is exclusive to the United States market.

The Nokia 2660 Flip 4G will have a 1,450 mAh battery and come in Blue and Black color options. It is possible that this folding phone will run the KaiOS 3 operating system following the Nokia 2760.
