TikTok is mushrooming and increasingly popular in the world. In fact, TikTok had beaten Google to become the most visited site some time ago before finally being held back by the reigning champion.
But apparently, TikTok is not accepted in two countries. Even TikTok is 'banned' there for their own reasons. Which two countries?
The first country is India. The Indian government has strictly banned more than 50 applications from China, including TikTok in 2020. In fact, TikTok users in India have reached 200 million, as reported by Make Use Of, Saturday (25/6/2022).
However, a number of local media in India said that this week ByteDance - TikTok's parent company - plans to work with Hiranandani Group to bring TikTok back in India.
Next up is Afghanistan. The Taliban is said to have banned the use of TikTok there. They think TikTok is not good for the younger generation. However, as of May 2022, the ban has not been enforced and no one knows if it will be permanent.
Meanwhile, there were several countries that had banned TikTok (banned), including Pakistan and Bangladesh.
