Many predict the current generation of consoles will be the last generation as streaming will replace it in the near future. Sony and Microsoft both offer their video game streaming services in certain markets. Today Microsoft announced their Xbox Cloud Gaming service will be available on Samsung television models and smart monitors starting next June 30.
The service can be accessed through an application installed on the device with it can be launched through the Samsung Game Hub. Previously Xbox Cloud Gaming was only offered on consoles, mobile smart devices and PCs only. Services will be offered to 27 countries first and not surprisingly Malaysia is not among the first wave countries.
Currently Xbox Cloud Gaming supports 1080P 60FPS streaming only. Microsoft said a variety of Xbox game controllers as well as Sony Dual Sense will be provided on supported 2022 Samsung televisions and smart monitors.
