YouTube Music is Google’s premier music streaming platform with it providing competition to Spotify and Apple Music. To give it a bit of uniqueness compared to competitors, YouTube Music launched Spring Recap 2022 which allows users to see their activity in the app throughout the spring just ended.
Spring Recap 2022 is similar to the Recap feature given at the end of the year. YouTube Music users can see the artists, songs, albums and playlists that users played most often in the spring. It can be accessed from the front view of the app when it opens starting today. It can then be shared by users to other platforms if necessary.
After this YouTube Music will produce a seasonal Recap and not just at the end of the year as Spotify does. With this feature YouTube Music hopes to be able to attract more users to their music streaming platform.
