The Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education will equip around 1000 schools with 5G network coverage by the end of 2022.
With the availability of this 5G network in the future, it will enable students and school management to use it in various matters, especially learning.
A pilot trial is expected to begin involving around six schools as early as this month. The full list of schools is expected to be decided by the Ministry of Education.
Apart from the school area, this 5G coverage will also benefit the settlement area around the school.
