Digital Nasional Berhad is ready to cover the 5G network in 40% of the populated areas in Malaysia by the end of 2022.
Sharing on its progress, Digital Nasional Berhad now says their network is ready to cover 25% of the populated areas in Malaysia, and is on target to reach 40% by the end of 2022.
If according to the government's aggressive target for DNB, the 5G network must cover 80% of the populated areas in Malaysia by the end of 2024.
Currently, 5G networks are still offered limited in Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Johor. To try it out as well, users need to use the Yes network only, while the others finish signing an agreement with the DNB.
