6 Telecommunication Companies Agree To Holdings In DNB

 


The Malaysian Minister of Communications and Multimedia has now confirmed that six local telecommunications companies have now agreed to acquire a stake in Digital Nasional Berhad.


With this move, a 70% stake will be divided between these six telecommunications service providers. The name of the company involved is not disclosed at this time, and is expected to be shared further hereafter. Most likely, it is Celcom, Digi, Maxis, U Mobile, Telekom Malaysia and even Yes.



The Minister also stated that they will make an official announcement in about eight days on this matter. It is said the telco has reached an agreement, and everything will be ready by next week.


DNB is a company that will manage 5G infrastructure in Malaysia. Telecommunication companies will subscribe to the service from DNB before offering it to end users.
