Apple Will Sell iPhone 14 With eSIM Support Only In Selected Markets

After removing the audio jack, the next step Apple will probably take is to remove the physical SIM tray directly. According to a Wall Street Journal report, starting with the iPhone 14 this year, Apple will offer smartphones that only support eSIM.

This model will be offered in a limited number of markets only such as the United States with it being offered on devices purchased in packages through telco plans. Without a physical SIM, the activation process can be done directly and this will also make it easier for the telco to prevent the device from being sold before the customer completes the contract.
