Dell has now announced that they will end the Dell Mobile Connect and Alienware Mobile Connect software on November 30, 2022. The software can no longer be downloaded after 31 July 2022.
For those who are not familiar with Dell Mobile Connect, it is a special software that allows the phone and PC to be connected - at the same time allowing the user to interact with the phone directly from the computer, such as replying to SMS, answering calls and so on.
Previously, Dell has offered this software since 2018, and can be used with Android phones and iPhones. However, since Microsoft already offers the same feature through Windows 10 and Windows 11, it may not make sense for Dell to offer it separately.
