The drama involving Elon Musk and Twitter continues. Recently, Elon Musk's team reportedly applied for a postponement of the trial of the Twitter lawsuit against Elon Musk until 2023.
Elon Musk had previously canceled Twitter’s purchase, and as a result, Twitter has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk. In fact, Twitter is also asking for the trial to be expedited to September - given that Elon Musk and Twitter’s preliminary agreement will expire on October 24, 2022.
Yet, now, Elon Musk’s team is seen applying until February 13, 2023 for a trial to be held in court. The reason to the contrary is not stated.
Elon Musk previously said Twitter did not provide enough data to their team in identifying fake account rates on the service. The matter was said to be inaccurate by Twitter, and has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk to proceed with the takeover of the social media service.
