Mark Zuckerberg today announced changes to their main application, where now Facebook will start displaying content according to the algorithmic discovery engine on the main page.
This is more or less the same as what TikTok does on their home page, where content is displayed randomly according to a user's taste and interaction.
With this move, users can find more content that is right for them directly on the Facebook app.
Parallel to this, Facebook introduced a special tab called Feed. Through it, users can find various current updates from friends and family, chronologically.
This update will be introduced gradually to the Facebook application starting today.
