Google Bans Full Screen Ads Display When Using Apps Starting September 30th

Google has now issued a new rule, banning apps published through Google Play from suddenly displaying full-screen ads when using an app or game.

As many variations of the form of advertising are prohibited in the application. The first is an advertisement that appears at the start or while playing a game.

In addition, advertisements displayed before an application is started are also not allowed.

Google also said that ads that are displayed suddenly in the form of full screen are also not allowed after September 30, 2022.

However, full-screen ads at the user's request are allowed – for example to view ads to get game rewards, they are allowed.

This ban is in an effort to ensure a good experience, and a non-disruptive advertising format offered all through Google Play.

This change will be implemented from September 30, 2022.
