PortableApps is one of the popular download providers, focusing on software that can be run directly from a USB drive without installing it on a computer.
It was popular once upon a time, making it easy for users to store favorite software on a USB drive, and run it on any computer with ease.
However, now a problem has been identified, where the Google Chrome web browser is blocking all downloads from the site.
PortableApps has confirmed this, and is temporarily switching downloads from other locations.
It is also informed that all those using the Google Safe Browsing engine will block downloads from the site, including Microsoft Edge and others.
For now, PortableApps is trying to contact Google to overcome this problem.
