Graphics Software Updates On Intel Alder Lake CPUs Cause Web Browsers To Experience Stiff Issues

The 12th generation Alder Lake series of Intel processing chips has been launched, and is seen to come up with pretty impressive performance whether you are using a desktop or laptop computer.

However, it has been reported that GPU software updates for the series of processing chips have caused web browsers such as Microsoft Edge and even Google Chrome to be slower than usual.

As an example, after this new update is installed, it is shown that the response time to one tap of the link will only be shown after two seconds, appearing as if the web browser is having a frozen problem for a while.

Intel says that this problem is more easily seen in web browsers that have many tabs open, or even if the computer uses a hard drive instead of an SSD as storage of choice, especially for the operating system.

Intel recommends users to update their web browser, operating system, and also not to use the hardware acceleration function for web browsers to fix the issue for now.

For now it is not yet known when Intel will fix this issue for computer users who use the Alder Lake chip.
