MUJI is a Japanese brand known for its minimalist design and aesthetics but still practicality. They are now entering the electric bike arena after launching the MUJI MS01. The MS01 electric bike was developed in collaboration with Honda.
The MS01 is equipped with a 20Ah battery that is capable of offering travel up to 64 km on a single charge and moving at a maximum speed of 25 km/h. There are LED lights on the front and rear for safety. An LCD screen is placed on the handle for battery charge and bike speed information.
Bicycles are offered in black and white. The battery can be removed with the battery via a quick conversion system if the user does not want to wait long. Because it’s still a bike, there’s a pedal if the electric motor doesn’t want to be used. Currently MUJI MSO1 is only sold in China at a price of RMB4,980 (~ RM3,283) apiece.
