Another new Huawei laptop that was also announced is the Matebook D 16. However, this laptop does not support a touch screen like the one found on the Huawei MateBook 16s. However, it is available in two different processor chips as an option for users.
For those interested, this laptop can be priced starting at RM3699 (i5 – 8GB/512GB), RM3,999 (i5 – 16GB/512GB) and RM4799 (i7 – 16GB/512GB). The pre-booking session has opened from today – 5 August 2022 with free gifts worth up to RM1,000 given with every purchase.
Huawei Matebook D 16 is equipped with a 16-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a 16:10 ratio. Intel Gen-12 chips are also used with a choice of i7-12700H and i5-12500H variants with matching Intel Iris Xe GPUs. Memory variations are up to 16GB RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD internal storage.
On the other hand, the battery used is 60Wh with a 65W fast charging system. Meanwhile, the choice of I/O plugs consists of 2 X USB-C, 1 X USB 3.2, 1 X HDMI, 3.5mm audio jack and 2 built-in microphones.
