Intel Sells Their Light Drone Business To Elon Musk's Brother

Intel is a technology company that has many other businesses under it apart from the development of semiconductor technology and processing chips for computers. One of them is a light drone business called Intel Drone Light Shows.

The light drone service has been used for various light drone events such as the Olympic Games and so on. Now, it has been reported that the business has been sold to Elon Musk’s younger brother, Kimbal Musk through a newly developed company, namely Nova Sky Stories.

With this acquisition, Nova Sky Stories also owns 9000 light drones developed by Intel, including the software used to program and control the drones, along with the employees covered under the business.

Apart from participating in large events, these Intel drones are also used for the purpose of location inspection and mapping, ground surveys and so on.

Even so, the price tag of this acquisition is unknown, but Intel has confirmed that they no longer own this drone business, and have already sold it to Nova Sky Stories.
