Intel Will Produce MediaTek Chips

 Intel today announced a collaboration with MediaTek, where MediaTek will use the Intel Foundry Services facility, in producing new MediaTek chips.

MediaTek plans to use Intel's production technology in producing chips for smart devices, including integrating high processing support, in addition to low energy consumption.

For now, it is not yet known which of the first MediaTek chips will be produced by Intel.
