Kids And Teens Now Spend More Time On TikTok Than YouTube

According to the latest data from child monitoring application provider Qustodio, it is seen that child users as well as teenagers now spend more time watching videos on TikTok compared to YouTube.

At the end of 2021, according to data, it was seen that users aged 4 to 18 years spent an average of 91 minutes a day on TikTok, while only 56 minutes a day on YouTube.

The new format popularized by TikTok itself is ready to make many users more comfortable using it in enjoying content. In fact, platforms like YouTube also come with an offering more or less called YouTube Shorts, while Instagram is introducing a similar feature called Instagram Reels.

Previously, YouTube has said YouTube Shorts is showing high usage among users - but it’s not known whether it’s enough to challenge and overcome TikTok or vice versa.
