In the world now there are over 7100 languages with English, Mandarin and Hindi being the three languages with the largest number of users. There is still no universal language that all the inhabitants of the earth understand.
So having a discussion without a common language is difficult. Mark Zuckerberg today announced Meta has developed artificial intelligence with the ability to translate 200 of the world’s major languages.
More interestingly this artificial intelligence is openly offered to anyone who wants to use it. According to Zuckerberg this is part of the No Language Left Behind project in Meta to bridge the language gap between users of their platform. This artificial intelligence has the ability to do 25 billion translations per day on Meta -owned platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
