Usually features from one platform are borrowed by another platform to prevent users from migrating. Stories for example are now a standard feature of various other social media platforms. Today Microsoft announced Viva Engage which is a social media platform similar to Facebook in Microsoft Teams.
With Viva Engage employees in an organization can connect with each other even when they work from home. There is a video sharing feature similar to Stories and even leaving comments on statuses left on personal profiles. Viva Engage can be accessed through the Teams app starting this August.
