Earlier last month, Microsoft introduced their affordable laptop, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 which showcases mid-range specs that are powerful enough to be used for daily productivity purposes.
The laptop comes with a 12.4 -inch PixelSense screen display with a resolution of 1536 × 1024 pixels along with a 3: 2 display ratio that resembles a piece of A4 paper when placed in a horizontal position.
In terms of internal specifications, this laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU with DDR4 memory up to 8GB and SSD internal storage up to 512GB. In terms of graphics, the Surface Laptop Go 2 uses the Intel Iris Xe graphics chip built into the CPU.
This laptop also comes with an interesting feature where the SSD storage part can be changed and upgraded if needed. It also comes with the latest Microsoft operating system, Windows 11 installed in it.
Microsoft Malaysia today announced that the laptop has started selling in the local market in two configurations, the only difference being in terms of SSD storage offered:
Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 (Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) - RM3488
Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 (Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD) - RM3788
Microsoft Malaysia says that this laptop has started to be offered at Microsoft device and accessory distributors such as Harvey Norman, All IT, Gloo By SNS Network, PC Image, Senheng and TMT.
