The Malaysian Ministry of Health has now shared that the case of the Omicron Sublineage BA.5 variant is now in Malaysia. It is said to be likely to spread more widely. This latest partnership comes in line with a 31% increase in cases nationwide from July 3 to July 7.
In addition, the Ministry of Health Malaysia also advised the public, especially adults who have not received a booster dose to get it immediately.
To date, about 31.4% of adults have not yet received a booster dose.
At the same time, individuals with comorbidities will start receiving appointment links on MySejahtera starting next week, for a second booster dose.
