OnePlus already launched their new mid -range device OnePlus Nord 2T last May and Nord CE 2 Lite device last April for select markets. After the OnePlus brand market was quiet in Malaysia, they are now back active to officially launch these two devices in Malaysia.
The device comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with 90Hz refresh rate support, HDR10+ and supports bottom-screen fingerprint scanner. The device uses a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processing chip limited to 4G network and is matched with memory of up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and storage of up to 256GB of UFS 3.1.
For the camera it comes with a tri-camera configuration of a combination of Sony IMX766 f/1.8 OIS 50MP sensor + 8MP ultra wide angle and 2MP mono sensor. While the selfie camera is from Sony IMX615 32MP sensor.
The device is loaded with a 4500mAh capacity battery that supports the SuperVOOC 80W fast charging system. The OnePlus Nord 2T runs the OxygenOS 12.1 operating system built on Android 12, also comes with Dirac stereo speakers, still has the iconic Alert Slider button for ringtone control.
The device comes with a choice of Gray Shadow or Jade Fog colors and is priced at RM1,899 for the 8/128 GB variation and RM2,099 for the 12/256 GB. The sale starts on July 19 and the earliest buyers will receive OnePlus Nord Buds worth RM299 for free.
Nord CE is a Nord device that offers basic features for people trying to use Oxygen OS. The successor to this device is the Nord CE 2 which was launched in Malaysia last March. Now their cheaper variation with the Snapdragon chip has been launched, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. It comes with a 6.59-inch FHD+ LCD screen, supports 120Hz high refresh rate, is powered by Snapdragon 695 5G and is matched with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM memory as well as 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage with microSD card slot reaching 1TB.
The camera configuration of this device is a tr-camera with a combination of 64MP sensor (main) + 2MP (depth sensor) + 2MP (macro sensor). For the selfie camera, OnePlus uses a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor. Nord CE 2 Lite runs the Oxygen OS 12.1 operating system based on Android 12. Since it is a basic OnePlus device, the iconic Alert Slider ringtone control button is not provided. But the device still retains a 3.5mm audio jack port. For security, a fingerprint scanner is built into the side of the device.
The battery of the loaded device has a capacity of 5000mAh and it supports 33W SuperVOOC charging power. OxygenOS on the device will be updated for two years and has a three -year security patch update.
OnePlus offers a choice of Black Dusk and Blue Tide colors, for the Malaysian market it is priced at RM1,199. The device will also be officially sold on July 19, the earliest buyers will receive a discount of RM200.
