The OnePlus Watch is the first smartwatch from OnePlus launched in 2021 with a price tag of RM699. It is not a full smartwatch, but rather a basic watch with health monitoring features, notifications, Google Maps and Spotify support as well as support for several sports modes and a wide selection of watch faces.
Although it is not the best watch with software that does not perform well, OnePlus still tries their best to have its own ecosystem.
Recently, their Nord brand that focuses on lifestyle and simple use may be present with its own smart watch as well, the OnePlus Nord Watch. The details of this watch are leaked through the N Health application which is a special application for monitoring the health of users of Nord products.
This app may be a rebrand of the OnePlus Health that is used with the OnePlus Watch. In this application, it reveals the design of the Nord Watch which is similar to the shape of the Apple Watch. But it has a protruding knob or button on the side in the middle which may also have two additional buttons with it.
In the N Health application there are also several watch face designs with the ability to do custom watch faces, daily activity data display, and some more health monitoring options. Sources also say the Nord Watch will likely include SpO2 sensor support, sleep monitoring and heart rate monitoring.
We are confident that it will not run the Wear OS operating system and will run its own operating system like the OnePlus Watch. For now it is still uncertain when it will be launched and which countries will receive this watch. Let's wait together.
