Oppo Reno8 And Reno8 Pro Global Version Launched With Different Processor Chips

The Oppo Reno8 series has been launched in China first with several models. It consists of Oppo Reno8, Reno8 Pro and Reno8 Pro+ which all have their own attractive offerings.

Speaking further, it is now launched at the Global level starting with India. In contrast to the variation in China, there have been several changes made and the most notable lies in the use of a processing chip on the Reno8 Pro powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chip.

The global Oppo Reno8 Pro features a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 10+ HDR certification. The included MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chip also supports 12GB of RAM (LPDDR5) memory and 256GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1). The battery is 4500mAh which supports 80W fast charging system.

The main camera is complete with 50MP (Sony IMX766) + 8MP + 2MP, while the front camera is 32MP (Sony IMX709). Interestingly, it also supports the MariSilicon X chip previously used on the flagship Oppo Find X5 Pro device for a better imaging system. Other specifications include on-screen fingerprint scanner, USB-C connection port, Bluetooth 5.3 and more.

The Oppo Reno8 uses a 6.4-inch AMOLED FHD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is then matched with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300, 8GB of RAM memory (LPDDR4x) and 128GB of internal storage (UFS3.1). The battery is 4,500mAh which also supports the 80W fast charging system.

The tri-camera system is used with a setting of 50MP (Sony IMX766) + 2MP + 8MP and the front camera is 32MP (Sony IMX709). Other specifications include on-screen fingerprint scanner, USB-C connection port, Bluetooth 5.3 and more.
