Russian National Team and Club Expelled from FIFA 23

Electronic Arts (EA), confirmed that it will not present the Russian national team and football club in FIFA 23. This is the aftermath of what Russia did to Ukraine.

"In accordance with our partners at FIFA and UEFA, EA Sports will not include the Russian national team or Russian clubs in FIFA 23," EA said in a statement.

These efforts are referred to as clear evidence of EA Sports' support for Ukraine. Plus, many football fans around the world, voiced peace.

"EA Sports stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and like many voices in the world of football, calling for peace and an end to the invasion of Ukraine," EA said.

Not being presented by the Russian team, is a continuation of EA's commitment that was announced last March. Previously, they had removed the team's involvement from FIFA 22, due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

From this information, it is still unclear whether the Russian team will return to visit FIFA when the invasion ends. Well, one thing is for sure, FIFA 23 will be released this year.

However, fans have to be a little patient if they want to play it. The reason is, the publisher itself will launch it at the end of the ninth month, to be exact, September 30, 2022.

Its presence will visit various platforms except mobile. FIFA 23 will be available to fans on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store).

As for there are new things that EA brought to this game. For the first time in EA Sports history, they have included women's football clubs spanning the English and French leagues, along with women's and men's competitions at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
