Spotify announced they are taking over Heardle a Wordle-like puzzle service. The difference is that Heardle uses a short audio clip then asks the listener again to be heard. Only one song needs to be guessed per day as well like Wordle.
According to Spotify, Heardle allows players to test their musical knowledge, listen to music that may have long been unheard of and perhaps discover new musicians they have never heard before.
Currently Heardle under Spotify is only accessible to users in the United States, Australia, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom first. It will be further expanded to global users with language support other than English.
