Finally, there is a response from Nicole Shanahan, the wife of Google founder Sergey Brin who is in the process of divorcing. Nicole's lawyers have spoken about news from the Wall Street Journal that Nicole is having an affair with Elon Musk.
Bryan Freedman as Nicole's lawyer is on Elon Musk's side. He denied that there was an affair between his client and Elon Musk. He even said that there had been defamation.
"Make no mistake, any news that Nicole is having an affair with Elon Musk is not only a huge lie but also defamation," he told the Daily Mail.
This is in accordance with the objections that have been put forward by Elon Musk. "I've spoken to Sergey and Nicole about the article and they both insist that they don't speak to the WSJ, or allow anyone else to speak on their behalf," Musk added.
"I have absolutely nothing to do with the divorce of Sergey and Nicole. I'm sure both Nicole and Sergey will confirm it," added Elon Musk

Elon Musk has also stated that he will not sue the WSJ but has chosen to deny it on social media. "Lawsuits by public people against news organizations in the United States are futile. Better to argue on Twitter or ignore them, which I often do," Elon Musk wrote to the New York Post.
The Wall Street Journal itself has given a brief statement that they believe the news of the affair between Elon Musk and Sergey Brin's wife is true.
"We believe in our sources, and we support our reporting," said the spokesperson for the well-known media as quoted by The Guardian page.
