The LG OLED evo Television Series Will Be Offered In The Local Market At A Price Up To RM124,900

Last year, LG, the leading display panel manufacturer from South Korea, began developing and marketing the OLED evo screen, which is an OLED display that uses Deuterium material to increase the brightness value and also extend the life of the panel.

Previously, this OLED evo panel was only used in their most premium class television, the LG G1. This year, LG is seen to have developed the panel to be used more widely, including their mid-range smart televisions.

Today, LG Malaysia has started selling this series of OLED evo G2 and C2 televisions in the local market, offering a number of quite large sizes, from 48 inches, which LG says is the smallest OLED television in the world, up to 88 inches, which they also say is the largest OLED television in the world, offering 4K up to 8K resolution depending on the model and display size.

These new smart televisions are also powered by the Alpha9 Gen 5 processing chip that offers unparalleled brightness and color accuracy through their Brightness Booster technology.

The advantage of using the Alpha9 Gen 5 processing chip is also that it uses artificial intelligence to make the scenes played, regardless of video content or video games, more vivid and sharp.

This processing chip also helps in improving the audio quality through the built-in speakers of the television together with the LG AI Sound Pro software which allows these OLED evo televisions to produce virtual 7.1.2 audio output, but still provide realistic audio quality and deep

Apart from support for HDMI 2.1 which allows video game consoles and desktop computers to run modern games at 4K120Hz resolution, these televisions also come with support for NVIDIA G-SYNC graphics technology as well as AMD FreeSync Premium Pro which reduces screen tearing issues (screen tearing).

Not only that, this LG OLED evo television series also comes with a Game Optimizer function that will optimize the brightness and color temperature of the television according to the game being played, while the Dark Room function will also ensure that this television has a brightness value that matches the darkness of the room.

With the use of the latest WebOS 22 operating system, this television also comes with a Room-to-Room share function that will mirror content from one television to another LG television via WiFi if you have more than one LG television in your home.

Display sizes that will be brought into the local market include 48 inches, 55 inches, 65 inches, 77 inches, 83 inches and 88 inches.

LG Malaysia says that the LG OLED evo G2 and C2 smart televisions will arrive in the local market soon, and will be priced starting at RM8199 for the 48-inch model, going up to RM124,900 for the 88-inch model.
