The World's Thinest Mechanical Watch RM UP-01 Ferrari Sold At RM 8.3 Million

A decade ago in the world of smartphones all manufacturers fought to launch the thinnest device. This trend ended after facing the reality of technological constraints and devices that are easily bent because they are too thin.

But in the world of luxury watches, the trend is still continuing and this week the Richard Mille RM UP-01 Ferrari watch has been launched as the world’s thinnest watch with a thickness of 1.75mm This means it is 1/4 thinner than an iPhone 13 Pro Max. The watch strap made of leather for this watch is thicker.

This watch was produced by Richard Mille in collaboration with Ferrari. This mechanical watch uses a mechanism produced in collaboration with Audemars Piguet Le Locle and has energy storage of up to 45 hours. Although very thin, this watch still has a waterproof capability of up to 10 meters.

Only 150 Richard Mille RM UP-01 Ferraris will be produced with each one sold at a price of $ 1.88 million (~ RM 8.3 as well) each.
